Tony`s Spunky Steer in Riverside

Very disappointing. Nothing is homemade, all box prepared. Doesn't matter what type of steak ordered, it is all the same. Cut from a larger cheap cut of meat. I order a petite fillet, my partner order tritip. We actually matched up the cut from his. Nice atmosphere. Will not revisit.

A big nope, go to Moreno valley for better quality, quantity and value

We were very happy with the food, the portion sizes, and the service. We went in there on a busy Friday night, were seated promptly, and treated well. My steak and my girlfriend's steak were cooked right, and everything was very good.It is quite a value for what you get!

Great place I used to take my grandmother there all the time, she loved it. Waitresses were really nice. Gotta try the bacon wrapped steak filet it is extremely bomb

Plank Steak for two includes garlic bread,salad,baked potato all for $30. Really good!

Good family dining. Casual , cheaper steak. Kids menu is pretty good. Kids chicken is tasty. Service is always friendly. I don't know if I just come at good times, but I've never had to wait for seating. The restaurant could use a make over, but it kind if goes with the theme of the place. All ages crowd. I'd say it's a step or 2 above sizzles lol

My brothers love this place because of the steak but me not so much. I only eat halal, so can’t eat the meat here. But it’s good to gather with the fam and eat a simple salad or baked potato. Love the bread they serve here too.

Mushrooms were cold had to send back for fresh order, shrimp was particularly cooked and my steak was still moving. What a waste tonight. So bummed. We told the hostess and she did nothing other than thanks for letting us know we will tell manager. Pretty good chance we won't be back.

This place was great. The service was excellent. I had the T-bone and it was perfect.

So sad they are closing soon. Really enjoyed eating there. We celebrated many birthdays and special events with family. They will be missed.

So sad to see this place go! Steaks were amazing...now I'll have to find a new place to go. 😣

Great food, unfortunately they are no longer in business as of Sunday, 3/18/18. The owner has retired.

Reasonably priced for a fabulous steak and great customer service.

Service was impeccable. We had a party of 15 and they had over 3 servers handling our group which made ordering a breeze. Everything in the sampler was delicious with the exception of the loaded potatoes which were okay. I had the bacon wrapped filet dinner with salad. The first bites were delicious then the over-seasoning hit me, I recommend ordering it lightly seasoned if that's possible and probably medium rare since mine was medium and there was no pink in the center. Overall, I give this dish 3.5 stars. Ask for the dressing on the side for your salad because again it's doused with dressing. Staff was friendly and attentive which made experience overall 4 stars.

Great Food, great steak, Try there speciality steak with baked potato and salad you'll love it been going here for about 5 years. Better than steer and stein. OH and try the cheese cake its Bomb!!

Steaks here are great. Absolutely wonderful customer service too. Our server was really nice and she was always asking if we needed anything else. Absolutely recommend it 👌

I've been attend events at CBBA for 10 years. First 8 years were under different management. Last 2 years were under different management. It got worse the last 2 years. Prices at concession stands went up, and choices went down. As a handicapped person, I've been pushed around inside men's restroom, from father's with children, pushing me aside, to get into the handicapped stall. No security or usher helped that situation. Parking lot attendants put cones away before all cars are out of the lot. I have almost been hit twice getting out or there. There's more. But why bother.

Service is always fantastic when we go. Food is adequate. prices are a little on the high side. Not usually a long wait. Parking and traffic can be challenging getting into this area.

I used to frequent the Spunky Steer in Temecula many years ago, and loved it. I just found the Spunky Steer here in Norco this week. It still has a very tender steak selection huge potatoes with cheese butter and anything else you want on them and a great salad! It's very family-friendly and I'll be coming back frequently!

Have been going to Tony's for years. Always good food and service. Very good steaks.

I loved Spunky Steer. I wasn't able to go often, only five to six times in the 12 years between when I first moved to Jurupa Valley and the restaurant's closure. But I will miss it. I honestly hope El Corral moves into Spunky Steer when the lease is up, and something not Mexican moves into El Corral, but we will see.

Best choice cut in the past years. However, recently I believe the steak house lowered their standards: steak been grizzly.

Good food great service. The bald guy I think his name was Touradj was quite funny. Made for an entertaining meal.

We love it there. My father visits from Michigan and makes a point to go there his first and last day of trip. Everyone is great there, Jeremiah is our favorite though.

The service is okay, but the food is just awful. The stakes never come out how you ask, the bell peppers taist as if they've gone bad, the only thing that is good is the bread.

My son told us about this place, in fact, bragged about it so much that the wife and I had to try it. First off this is a family type restaurant, not a fancy joint. But the food is fantastic. We split a Plank Steak with baked potato, and salad. It was tender and juicy. We both loved it. The baked tater with all the trimmings was the best I have had in years. You will love this place. We will be going back this weekend.

Great Family place to have Steak.And the price is just right.

I've been coming here for years and it has by my favorite steak spot. Can't beat a 16oz steak for $20. But the last 2 visits have been underwhelming. The steak has a lot more fat than it use to have. The clam chowder has one or two pieces of clam. Lastly, I don't eat steak that often, but when I do I like it with original A1. My server claimed they were all out, I waited and asked her to bring some over when one was available. My server walked by me a few times and I could see tables with guest who were done eating and just chatting. I never received my A1 and was unable to enjoy my steak to its fullest potential.

Best place for steaks period! Great service awesome staff. Clean and old fashioned. Awesome
